[Week 4] - Devlog 14 Oktober 2024


This week, our team took significant steps forward in both the creative and technical aspects of our game development process.
On the creative side, we began by refining our ideas for the game’s overall aesthetic, ensuring that the visual design aligns seamlessly with the narrative we’ve crafted. This involved visualizing the look and atmosphere we want to achieve, from the color palette to the environmental details that will define our world. With this vision in mind, we created a rough concept of how the game world would be structured, focusing on the environment design.
The primary goal during this phase was to conceptualize immersive and visually distinct levels, each reflecting the unique characteristics of the different biomes included in our game.
On the technical side, our programming team reached a major milestone this week by successfully developing the Character Controller and Camera System. The Character Controller ensures smooth and responsive player movement, a fundamental aspect of creating a satisfying gameplay experience
