[Week 7] - Devlog 4 November 2024


this week we designed the Play Testing that will be used when testing the game.

Testing Objectives:

We aim to evaluate how well our Target Audience connects with Dream Land's UI, Visual Style, and Gameplay Mechanics.

  • - User Interface
  • - Testing Level Design
  • - Core Gameplay mechanic (Building, Cut Down Tree)
  • - Collect feedback on the overall gaming experience
  • - Identify some bugs

Frequency of Testing Stages

To broaden the scope when testing and assessing the overall play experience we plan to do Playtesting twice, First Stage Playtesting for Gameplay, Movement, and Features, Second Stage Playtesting for the Overall Game.

Planner Test

  • - Tester feedback on level design and UI/UX of the game
  • - Final bug fixes, Gameplay improvements
  • - Overall user experience
  • - Comprehensive gameplay, bug identification, and player feedback
  • - Survey, Group Discussion, and Gameplay Analysis
